Bay Leisure Ltd

Bay Leisure Ltd is an independent charity set up in September 2007. Bay Leisure owns and operates five Simply Gyms with clubs in Cardiff, Uxbridge, Llansamlet, Gorseinon and Cwmbran.

Bay Leisure opened the LC (Leisure Complex) in Swansea in 2008, including Wales’ biggest indoor waterpark, and managed it successfully on behalf of the City and County of Swansea until September 2018. During this time the LC received multiple awards and status as “the most visited paid attraction” in Wales.

In 2012 in partnership with Swansea University Bay Leisure opened 360, a beach and watersports centre in Swansea Bay and ran it successfully until September 2018.

The company has a board non-executive directors who are all voluntary. The board is made up of local professionals from different business sectors and meets eight times a year.
